I don’t see any institution, no group of citizens, neither politicians nor elected official with enough intestinal fortitude to be able to put a check on the increasing powers of the government.

If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.

If we as a people do not get informed and have a presence in the electoral process, we will lose our freedom. It is not enough to show up at our voting booth for 90% of the elections and 100% of the rest of the time be disengaged, mute, fat, dumb and happy.

The contemporary presence of myth in today’s society is seemingly not dangerous, but sometimes has much greater significance in persuading men and women to action than the truth, facts and knowledge.

Unaware; we have been duped by the aristocrats of the incumbent oligarchy, who play us off against one group or another and feign concern, dueling needlessly round and round the top emotional surface of the issues while solving nothing, entrenching themselves within the impenetrable iron triangle of favors from PACs, corporations and unions.

Pick an official, elected or otherwise. Do we really have any idea what they think about any of the topics? How would we know? Every time they open their mouths it is usually a politically correct version of some sort of spun up drivel.

Lacking courage, without the self awareness and knowledge of humanity neither an individual nor the citizen body has the wisdom or ability to take back sovereignty. As individuals and as a society we must first become self-conscious.

...we have a well trained, highly specialized citizen body generally uneducated in history, economics, ethics, logic, politics, government and scientific theory that is unaware of their own biases and the consequences to the world of the work they do, how they vote or what they think, do or say.

The future, our future, the future of our society is in the hands of an unknowing, weak kneed, apathetic citizen body that is too fat, dumb and happy enjoying life in this literal utopia.
